Q: “I find myself procrastinating a lot, because it’s difficult for me to put ideas together on paper. Classmates seem annoyed when I ask them for help. How can I outsource or delegate stuff I’m not good at in this situation?”
My Answer: When it comes to school, most DaVinci’s best shot at delegating or “outsourcing” ...

Q: “I keep hearing people referring to themselves or others as ‘DaVincis.’ What does that mean?”
My Answer: In my book, The DaVinci ,I define a “DaVinci” as someone who is impulsive, distractible, sensation-seeking and creative. Think of “DaVinci” as a personality type – or more accurately a natural temperament some people have. People who are ...

“Q: There are so many days when I just want to give up, can’t get out of bed, or feel totally hopeless.”
My Answer: There is hope. Depression is a monster that wants to keep you down. If you give up, it wins. You are strong. You are infinitely more powerful than this monster – especially ...

Hi Garret,
Thank you for the beautiful and encouraging messages. I grew up in South Africa as a very slow child not many people payed attention to. I was very forgetful and had very poor attention to detail. I used to hurt me a lot to hear people that I loved and looked up to call me stupid and slow. I made a promise to myself that I would grow up to be a woman of great influence. I am now 28 and really struggling to move forward. Almost everyone I interact with seems to like me. For some reason people believe that I have great potential. The only problem is that I can never seem to stick to one thing. I have so many things that I have started but never got to finish. I loose interest very quickly. What can I do to change this?

Garret Everything you do right now at some level is a complete Joke. What you say is absolutely correct you have hit the nail on the head so clearly, but it’s not pushed enough into the medical field to be validated so right now you are only writing to those who know you are on the right track I am one of those people. But as long as the cultural bias is such in treating these conditions as disorders then we have a problem, because Bi-polar individuals are going to continue to be mis-treated, feel like personal failures simply because that is the current perception of the larger social framework that is fed back to them. There needs to be a locality that can begin to gather information as a central locality that presses into the scientific field more forcefully than currently exists. I am very frustrated at the dark ages of our time when Bi-polar is still considered a disorder it is not. It is a spectrum locality of how the brain works over a larger spectrum. We have the brains that are given to us, we need to learn how to use them and push back.

Hi Garret!
I love your work. it helped me much! but unfortunately your book is so big and i rarely have time to reread to deeply understand it. ADHD is really most controversial topic that even most educated people make mistake about it so as to i can’t prove its existence to my parents. however i try to treat ADHD myself.
I have lots of notes that i think is extremely useful to ADHD-ers. if you want, you can contact me!
but a question!
where are you from?
I think you’re south American.
Thanks.
